On 22 December 2023, the Control Pollution Centre Board issued a notification remanding entities like Producers, Manufacturers, Recyclers, and Refurbishes dealing with e-waste to register on the EPR E-Waste Portal by December 31, 2023.

It’s crucial to adhere to these rules. Operating any e-waste-related business without proper registration could lead to punitive actions according to E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022.
