They improve the power factor by reducing reactive power, leading to more efficient energy usage and reduced electricity costs. This product falls under the mandatory BIS-ISI Mark certification scheme also known as (Scheme-I of Schedule II), making it imperative for manufacturers and importers to obtain a valid license by a specified deadline. Failure to comply will prohibit importing, manufacturing or selling these goods in the Indian market.
