On the occasion of International E-waste Day, VINCULAR organised a remarkable plantation drive in the serene forest area of Golapar, Haldwani, Uttarakhand.
The event was graced by Dr Jogendra Pal Singh Rautela, the esteemed Mayor of Haldwani-Kathgodam City, and Gopal Singh Karki Former Deputy Director of the Uttarakhand Forest Department. It was also attended by enthusiastic students from Naini Valley School, Haldwani.
The day was filled with inspiring speeches that raised awareness about the pressing issues of E-Waste, Plastic Waste, and various types of waste, and the hazardous consequences they bring. The event also shed light on the correct and responsible methods for waste disposal.
It was truly heartwarming to see our chief guests, along with the eager students and dedicated forest officials, join hands to plant more than 100 trees. This symbolic act spoke volumes about our collective commitment to the environment and our shared responsibility to protect it.
The day left an indelible mark on everyone who participated, instilling a profound sense of environmental responsibility in our hearts. It vividly demonstrated the tremendous impact that collective action can have on our world.
