Job Responsibilities include: –
- Circular Economy Compliance: Stay updated on national and international regulations regarding circular economy practices. Ensure compliance with E-waste regulations, Battery waste disposal guidelines, Plastic waste management protocols, and related standards both in India and internationally.
- EHS Program Development: Develop and implement Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs that align with circular economy principles. Establish strategies to minimize environmental impact and enhance resource efficiency. Demonstrated experience in creating policies for E-waste management within a corporate context.
- Waste Management: Oversee compliance with regulations on E-waste, Battery waste, and Plastic waste management. Collaborate with stakeholders to improve waste reduction and recycling efforts. Manage the collection, recycling, and appropriate disposal of electronic waste following regulatory standards.
- Green Credit and Carbon Credit & Trading Scheme (CCTS): Evaluate and implement Green Credit initiatives to support sustainability. Monitor and manage Carbon Credit programs to reduce the organization’s carbon footprint.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Set up and maintain relationships within the industry, with government departments, and ministries. Represent the organization in interactions with stakeholders such as clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical documentation according to regulatory requirements and maintain updated project status trackers. Share updates on new or changing regulations with clients.
- Audit Support and Coordination: Support clients during on-site audits as required by compliance laws related to CTO, CTE, etc. Coordinate with testing labs and review test reports as per standards.
Required Skills:-
- Knowledge of national and international circular economy regulations.
- Experience in E-waste, Battery, and Plastic waste management.
- Understanding of certifications and licenses related to waste management, including state-level SPCB regulations (CTO, CTE).
- Familiarity with WEEE, RoHS, and REACH guidelines.
- Proficiency in MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi preferred.
- Team management and leadership capabilities.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in client and vendor interactions.
Preferred Experience: Project management, team management, regulatory compliance in the Indian telecom or environmental industry.
