Implementation Timeline Revised for Yoke Medical Cylinder

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has officially extended the implementation timeline for the revised standard IS 3745: 2024—Yoke Type Medical Cylinder Valve with Pin Index Connection.

Originally set for implementation by 14 April 2025, the new deadline is now extended to 14 April 2026, following industry feedback and requests from manufacturers.  

 What does this mean?

The current running of (IS 3745: 2006) & (IS 3745: 2024) continues until 14 April 2026. All licensees and applicants are advised to take note and align their compliance and testing accordingly.
