Extension of Star Rating Validity for Various Products
The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) has extended the validity of the existing star rating table of Distribution Transformers, Pedestal Fans, Air Compressors, Table/Wall fans, Side by Side/Multi Door Refrigerators and Induction Hobs. The new validity periods are as follows:
| Product | New Validity |
| Distribution Transformer | 1st July 2017 to 31st December 2025 |
| Pedestal Fan | 1st March 2023 to 31st December 2025 |
| Air Compressors | 11th January 2021 to 31st December 2025 |
| Table/Wall Fan | 1st March 2023 to 31st December 2025 |
| Side by Side/Multi Door Refrigerator | 1st March 2023 to 31st December 2025 |
| Induction Hob | 1st March 2023 to 31st December 2025 |
To keep your model’s registration with BEE active, the respective product category permittee is required to adhere to the below process:

| Model Continuation process for Distribution Transformer, Pedestal Fan, Air Compressors, Table/Wall Fan, Side by Side/Multi Door Refrigerator and Induction Hob. | 28th February 2025 |
