On 8th January 2024, TEC notified the industry of various exemption from the submission of test reports for the below-mentioned test Parameters/Interfaces under MTCTE. The relaxation for these test parameters has been extended up to 30th June 2024 or till further orders from the department.
Recently, TEC also extended the mandatory date of certification for 12 product categories under phases III and IV of MTCTE. In the same direction, test requirements such as 5G NR testing under Router ER, certain protocol tests for PON devices and gateway products, and various tests for Optical Fiber Cables have been extended.
