DoT has Extended Deadline for M2M Registration

Deadline Extended for M2M Registration by DoT

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has extended the M2M registration deadline to March 31, 2025, providing unregistered entities offering M2M services or WLAN/WPAN connectivity additional time to comply and prevent service disruptions.
If you are a product manufacturer or manage IoT-enabled devices such as smart meters, connected vehicles, industrial automation systems, healthcare devices, or smart city applications, this update directly affects you.
So, to ensure uninterrupted service, all entities must comply with M2M registration guidelines. Failure to register will result in service suspension after the deadline, and reactivation will only be possible upon submission of a valid registration certificate to telecom licensees.
So, we strongly advise completing your M2M registration on the Saral Sanchar Portal at the earliest. If you need any assistance or have queries, feel free to reach out to us.
