BEE issues Extension in the Validity of Light Commercial Air Conditioners 

The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) has extended the star rating validity for Light Commercial Air Conditioners (LCAC) under the mandatory regime. The new star rating validity period will be now 1st July 2023 to 31st March 2026. 

Manufacturers or permittee holders who wish to continue selling their approved models must adhere to the Model continuation process before or by 31st July 2025. 

No applications will be accepted after this deadline.
