What is the Validity of the CCTV ER 01 Security Certificate?
The CCTV security certificate is initially granted for a minimum period of 2 years. After this initial period, the manufacturer can choose to renew the certificate for additional terms of 2, 3, 4, or 5 years, depending on their requirements.

- The product label/packing must state “This CCTV camera complies with Essential Requirement(s) for Security”.
- By April 9, 2025, existing CCTV camera license holders must submit an ER application along with the ER: 01 test report.
- No request will be accepted without an ER Security test report after April 9, 2025.
