Meet Our Founder
Balbir Bora is the founder and CEO of VINCULAR. He has over 25 years of work experience in diverse fields associated with IT Management & Product Compliance. He worked with leading corporations like Cisco and Canon before starting VINCULAR. VINCULAR was founded in the year 2012 when regulatory compliances for IT & telecom products gained prominence in the country. Right after VINCULAR’s inception, Balbir focused on expanding the company’s horizon through providing consultation services catering to numerous product compliance requirements for market access in India. He has played an instrumental role in shaping the company to excellence while positioning it amongst the industry as a knowledge partner, alongside building a team of experts in the field of regulatory compliance. He believes in adding value to various businesses as a trusted partner for customers across the global community, ensuring our motto “VINCULAR’s success lies in that of its customer’s success” is being duly fulfilled. Balbir also ensured alignment with the concept of corporate social responsibility at VINCULAR adding character towards us being a sustainable & value-oriented business. India has built a platform in the global market as a promising nation for many investors round the world to open their businesses. This has led to the potentiality of designing numerous consumer products by different companies for importing and selling them in Indian market. With so many new products entering this country, it has raised serious concerns about the environment and consumer’s safety as well. Due to which various ministries of India have decided to regulate and streamline the safety compliances of every product for a safe consumption by the end users.
Recognizing the growing need of regulatory compliance, VINCULAR emerged as a product compliance consultant to many global and local manufacturers/OEMs and Brands. The company was first started to service the IT & Telecom manufacturers for their testing and certification requirements in India. However, as the Indian compliances have become more standardized, we have evolved as a trusted advisory partner for our customers in many areas of regulatory compliance. Our main focus has been on Product safety, and with time we have gained expertise on compliances of security testing, waste management, energy efficiency, certification on weights & measures, food safety, toys, etc.
